HAAPSALU FILM CLUB: Indrek Ojari visits with the short films “Tulnukas” and “Distants”

On 27 November 2026 at 18.00 the Haapsalu Film Club meets with actor Indrek Ojari in the theatre hall of Haapsalu Cultural Centre. The evening’s programme has two Estonian short films: Rasmus Merivoo’s “Tulnukas ehk Valdise pääsemine 11 osas” from 2006 and Janno Jürgens’s “Distants” from 2012. The first film deals with Estonian subculture and centres on Valdis, who has lost his memory and is played by Märt Avandi. The second tells of a father and son who have grown apart; its leads are Indrek Ojari and Väino Laes. “Distants” was also part of the programme of the Locarno film festival. The Haapsalu Film Club has been active since 2023 and its organisers are MTÜ HÕFF, PÖFF and Haapsalu Cultural Centre. Entry is by voluntary donation.
