IndoorsLive music
On 28 January Ballet Flamenco of Catalonia performs the dance production “Carmen” at Narva’s Rugodiv cultural centre. The Catalan company interprets the famous story through flamenco, contemporary choreography and live music. At the heart of the production is an independent woman whose choices and wish to run her own life lead to conflict. Based on Prosper Mérimée’s literary story, the work is neither a traditional opera nor a classical ballet but a two-hour dance theatre performance. Narva is one of the stops on the company’s European tour.
