Opening of the Exhibition "Ingrian Dreams"

The opening of artist Ekaterina Kuznetsova's exhibition "Ingrian Dreams" takes place at Narva's Rugodiv Cultural Centre. Dedicated to the Kindred Peoples' Days, the exhibition combines surrealist imagery with Ingria's cultural heritage. The paintings incorporate authentic Votic and Izhorian national embroidery, stitched directly onto the canvas, which gives the works a special sense of material. The artist is a member of the Vestervalli association. At the opening you can explore Ingrian stories, symbols and dreamlike motifs. The event is part of the Narva autumn capital programme, and according to the organiser admission is free.
