NAKS 2026: Piip ja Tuut Teater “Uncle Nightingale”

“Uncle Nightingale” is a family show by Piip ja Tuut Teater at the NAKS festival in the large hall of Vaba Lava Narva. Based on a children’s book by Ellen Niit, the story is about an unusual man whose behaviour and perception of the world differ from the familiar. Through the eyes of one girl, a story unfolds that encourages us to notice differences between people and to treat them with understanding. In Jaanus Rohumaa’s production the cast is Emili Rohumaa and Richard Ester. The performance in Estonian suits ages 5 and over and lasts 55 minutes. The hall is wheelchair accessible.
