NAKS 2026: VAT Teater “The Adventures of Skeleton Juhan”

“The Adventures of Skeleton Juhan” is a children’s show by VAT Teater at the NAKS festival at Vaba Lava Narva. In the production based on a story by Triinu Laan, a grandmother and grandfather live in their familiar rhythm until the skeleton Juhan, hiding in the cupboard, decides to step into their lives. The kind-hearted character gets into trouble, and the unexpected arrival of robbers makes the situation even more exciting. Aare Toikka’s production has little dialogue, and the story is told largely through the actors’ actions. The performance in Estonian lasts 50 minutes and suits ages 5 and over.
