The Vaba Lava theatre centre in Narva hosts a just transition forum about the future of Ida-Viru County. During the day, the results of surveys of the region’s residents and businesses are presented, and the impact of economic change on health, livelihoods and expectations for the future is analysed. Researchers and local experts discuss development scenarios for the region and the experience of other European regions. Attention is also paid to what happens to Ida-Viru County after the measures of the Just Transition Fund end. The forum is held in Estonian and can also be followed online.
