On 31 October 2026 at 14.00 a historical tour takes place in the casemates of the Victoria Bastion in Narva. The tour introduces the history of Narva’s defence system and the tasks of the bastions in war and peacetime. The passages of the Victoria Bastion were built at the end of the 17th century and are now used as a tourist attraction and for various visitor programmes. Participants explore the underground passages and hear stories about the bastions’ former inhabitants and the historical events connected with them. It can be cold in the casemates, and visitors are advised to take the conditions of underground spaces into account. The tour is not recommended for children under five or for people who fear enclosed spaces or have mobility difficulties. The tour in Estonian lasts one hour.
