Sindi rapids

Sindi rapids are located in Pärnu County in the town of Sindi on the Pärnu River, formed as a river section created in place of the former dam. Following the removal of the dam, the fish migration route was restored and new spawning areas were created. The rapids offer an opportunity to observe moving water and the changed river landscape from the bank. It is also used for practicing slalom canoeing and other water sports, but the strong current requires equipment and experience. Visitors can explore the location without entering the water. The rapids are a nature and water sports site, not the Sindi Museum or the nearby health trail.
