Crime comedy “Stockmann Yard — Kaubamaja kurikaelad” (Department Store Crooks)

“Stockmann Yard — Kaubamaja kurikaelad” (Department Store Crooks) is a crime comedy by Vana Baskini Teater, performed on 15 November at Endla Theatre in Pärnu. In the story by the Finnish author and director Antto Terras, department store staff, security guards and thieves end up in a tangled game of cat and mouse. Terras drew on his many years of experience as a detective at Helsinki’s Stockmann department store when writing the play. On stage are Elina Reinold, Ott Sepp and Jan Uuspõld. The production combines a criminal plot, laughter at human weaknesses and the backstage of retail. It starts at 19.00 and ends at about 21.15, with an interval.
