Niguliste Museum and Viewing Platform

The Niguliste Museum is located in the former 13th-century medieval St. Nicholas' Church and combines historical architecture, sacred art, and one of the unique panoramas of Tallinn's Old Town. The museum's collection features important works of medieval art, including the surviving fragment of Bernt Notke's famous "Danse Macabre" and late medieval altarpieces from Northern Germany and the Netherlands. A modern glass elevator takes visitors up into the tower, which features an observation deck overlooking the historic center and its red rooftops.
