Mikkel Museum

Mikkel Museum

The Mikkel Museum is located in Tallinn's Kadriorg district on A. Weizenbergi Street and is dedicated to private collections and art collecting. The core of the museum's display is the collection donated by the art collector Johannes Mikkel, which includes European and Chinese porcelain, ceramics, painting and graphic art. The display makes it possible to compare the artistic traditions of different countries and follow how one collector's personal world of art took shape. Besides the permanent exhibition, the museum hosts changing exhibitions presenting historical and contemporary private collections. The museum is close to the Kadriorg Art Museum and fits well into a shared art-themed walk.
