Nõmme Museum

Nõmme Museum

Nõmme Museum is located in Tallinn on Jaama Street in one wing of the historic Nõmme railway station. The museum's two exhibition halls introduce the development of Nõmme and life during the time when Nõmme was an independent town. The exhibition also covers earlier development starting from Nikolai von Glehn's activities in the late 19th century. Many items and memories come from local residents, and part of the collections is connected with the Tallinn City Museum. In addition to the permanent exhibition, temporary displays can be seen. The historic station building helps to understand how the train connection influenced Nõmme's growth into an important district of Tallinn.
