Great Guild Hall

Great Guild Hall

Suurgildi hoone is a medieval Great Guild building on Pikk street in the Old Town of Tallinn, which today houses the Estonian History Museum. More than six centuries ago, this representative house was connected with the lives of influential merchants and trade associations of the city. In its halls, you can explore the history of trade, urban society, and Estonia's cultural heritage, as well as visit temporary exhibitions. The ancient interiors help to imagine the atmosphere of Hanseatic Tallinn, when trade connections determined the city's development and prosperity.
