Concert “Tähistaeva loojad” (Creators of the Starry Sky)

The concert “Tähistaeva loojad” (Creators of the Starry Sky) takes place on 15 November at St John’s Church in Tallinn. At the heart of the evening is Urmas Sisask’s starry-sky-inspired piano music, complemented by planetary gongs and storytelling. Pianist Tiiu Sisask performs works from the composer’s “Tähistaevas” cycle, Tiina Karjatse creates improvised soundscapes on gongs, and actor Christopher Rajaveer tells stories about stars and the sky. The church acoustics unite the sounds of piano, gongs and speech. The concert lasts an hour and a half and is intended for listeners interested in contemporary Estonian music, starry-sky themes and the meeting of different art forms. It starts at 18.00.
