TYPA Printing and Paper Arts Centre

TYPA is an active museum and centre for print and paper arts where historical technologies can be seen in action rather than just behind glass. The collection includes antique printing presses, papermaking equipment, and wooden and metal typefaces. The centre offers guided tours, exhibitions, and hands-on workshops where visitors can experience handmade papermaking and traditional printing methods. TYPA grew from a private museum created to preserve surviving printing machinery, and today combines a museum, a workshop, and a contemporary art space. The centre is located in a former industrial district near the Aparaaditehas creative quarter.
