Blood Donor Day

Blood Donor Day takes place in the balcony hall of the Haapsalu Cultural Centre and offers a chance to give blood for those in need. The session organised by the Blood Centre welcomes healthy, rested adults who have eaten and who meet the requirements for donors. According to the organiser, blood can generally be given by people aged 18–60 who weigh more than 50 kilograms. Bring an identity document; booking a donation time in advance is recommended. The official programme of the Haapsalu Cultural Centre lists the 20 October donor day as starting at 10:30 and lasting four hours.
