Discussion circle “What can we do to make the development of Läänemaa good for people, businesses and nature?”

A discussion circle devoted to the development of Läänemaa takes place on 26 October 2026 at the Lääne County Central Library in Haapsalu. The open discussion considers how to shape the future of the region so that it is a good place for people to live and for businesses to operate, while preserving the natural environment. Participants discuss the balance between nature and economic development, how Läänemaa has changed over the years and the strength of local communities. The hosts are Anni Oja and Madis Tilga. The discussion circle is meant for everyone in Läänemaa who wants to listen, think along or share their experience. It starts at 17.30 and ends at 19.00. Participation is free of charge, and the organiser has published a pre-registration link.
