"The Abruka War" is a Kuressaare Theatre production based on Aarne Mägi's play, performed on Tallinna Street in Kuressaare. Inspired by Ülo Tuulik's memoirs, the story takes viewers to Abruka in autumn, when the summer visitors have left but the island's past will not let the locals live in peace. What happened decades ago still shapes people's relationships and raises questions about memory, guilt and generations. Aare Toikka's production features Lauri Kink, Tanel Ting, Jürgen Gansen, Luisa Lõhmus and Piret Rauk. According to the theatre, the one-act performance lasts about 80 minutes.
