Children’s play “Kaval Ants ja Vana Pagan” (Cunning Ants and the Old Devil) — 5 December

Aarne Mägi’s production “Kaval Ants ja Vana Pagan” (Cunning Ants and the Old Devil) is performed on 5 December at the Kuressaare Theatre. Well-known characters from Estonian folk tales come to the stage in a story where cunning, strength and agreements meet. The production gives young audiences the chance to meet the figures of folk tradition in theatrical form and to think about why great strength does not always mean victory in folk tales. There are several separate performances of this production in the December programme. This card covers the Saturday performance starting at 12.00 in the Kuressaare Theatre hall.
