Kuressaare Theatre's youth production "Diary of an Ugly Girl" tells the story of Malva, who feels lonely because of her classmates' looks and judgements. Her diary is her safe place until meeting Runo helps her notice friendship and her own strengths. Based on Mari Kujanpää's play, the production is about courage, being different and hope. The theatre recommends it from age 12. The evening performance on 28 December takes place at Kuressaare Theatre; the one-act show lasts about one hour and twenty minutes.
