Andrus Kivirähk “Aabitsa kukk” (The Primer Rooster) — 16.00

Andrus Kivirähk’s monologue play “Aabitsa kukk” (The Primer Rooster) comes to the Küün stage of Endla Theatre in Pärnu on 21 February 2027 at 16.00. Mauno is played by Lauri Liiv and the director is Andrus Vaarik. The play’s main character is a man who stayed in the first grade for years and whose worldview still rests on the primer truths learned in childhood. Watching life from his home window, he recalls the past, talks about people and interprets the world through familiar texts. The story combines comic observations, loneliness and a childlike idea of how the world should work. This is the day’s first separate performance.
