Oshibana or beautiful flower cards: beginners' workshop

The beginners' workshop on Oshibana will take place at the Pärnu House of Youth and will introduce the making of flower cards from pressed plants. Instructor Kai Tomasberg will show how to select flowers and leaves, arrange them on the card, and secure the composition with glue. The activity is based on the Japanese art of pressing and drying plants. In the workshop, participants can try working with delicate natural materials and find a suitable solution for their design. Materials and tools are included in the participation fee. Pre-registration at the Pärnu People's College is required; the meeting will last from 17:30 to 19:45.
