Seitse sammu Bachini

“Seitse sammu Bachini” (“Seven Steps to Bach”) is a classical music concert at Pärnu Concert Hall introducing the history of the organ school connected with Johann Sebastian Bach. The performers are soprano Kristel Pärtna, cellist Aare Tammesalu and organist Piret Aidulo. The programme features works by Hugo Lepnurm, Marcel Dupré, Alexandre Guilmant, Jacques-Nicolas Lemmens, Adolf Friedrich Hesse, Christian Heinrich Rinck, Johann Christian Kittel and Johann Sebastian Bach. The central theme of the concert is the musical tradition passed on through teachers and pupils. Hugo Lepnurm studied in Paris with Marcel Dupré, and Piret Aidulo was in turn a pupil of Lepnurm at the Tallinn State Conservatory. The concert takes place on 4 March 2027 at 19.00 at Pärnu Concert Hall.
