Kadriorg Art Museum

Kadriorg Art Museum

The Kadriorg Art Museum is housed in Kadriorg Palace on A. Weizenbergi Street in Tallinn and presents the foreign art collection of the Art Museum of Estonia. Built in the time of Peter I, the baroque palace is also one of Tallinn's most prestigious historic buildings. The permanent exhibition features paintings, graphic art, sculpture and applied art by Netherlandish, Russian, Italian and German artists from the 16th to the 20th century. The palace's grand main hall, ceiling painting and architectural details give the artworks a special historical setting. Besides the permanent display, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions, lectures and concerts. A visit can be combined with a walk in Kadriorg Park.
