Viimsi Open Air Museum

Viimsi Open Air Museum

The Viimsi Open Air Museum is located on a historic seaside farm in Pringi village and introduces life in a northern Estonian fishing village and the work of coastal people. At its heart is the Kingu coastal farm dating from the 1820s, with a dwelling house, granary and other farm buildings; the grounds also include reconstructed fishermen’s houses and fishing-related structures and tools. Right from the shore there is a view of the Tallinn skyline, and a farmers’ market is held in the museum yard on Saturdays. A visit combines historic buildings, coastal culture and the seaside landscape of the Viimsi peninsula.
