The Estonian National Opera’s Christmas concert for babies and toddlers takes place on 11 December at the Estonia restaurant in Tallinn. The 45-minute programme introduces classical music and is made for children aged 0–3 and their companions. At this session devoted to the Christmas season, children hear live instrumental music in a relaxed setting where they do not have to stay seated throughout. On a large sensory mat made by the theatre’s craftspeople they can play with a parent and discover music. A changing table is available on site and there is a place for prams in the foyer. Doors open half an hour before the 10.00 start.
