Indoors
The educational session “How to Understand Opera” on 20 November at the Estonia restaurant in Tallinn focuses on Mozart’s opera “The Marriage of Figaro”. The one-hour programme explains how the art of opera developed, how a production comes to life and how different theatre professions work together. Audio and video examples show how music helps interpret the characters and their relationships and what expressive possibilities the opera stage offers. It suits young people and adults meeting opera for the first time. The session can be combined with that evening’s performance of “The Marriage of Figaro”, but a group ticket must be arranged with the organiser separately.
