Nino Katamadze and band

The Georgian singer Nino Katamadze gives a concert on 22 November at Alexela Concert Hall in Tallinn. Her music brings together jazz, rock, improvisation and the Georgian song tradition. The concert features the artist’s well-known pieces “Olei”, “Once in the Street”, “Beauty”, “Will Come as Snow” and “Suliko”. An important place in Katamadze’s work is held by using the voice as an independent means of expression, so her performances also include wordless vocal improvisation. She performs in both Georgian and English in a distinctive vocal style. In Tallinn the singer is accompanied by her band. It starts at 18.00.
