The walk is led by experienced zookeepers and guides who introduce the lives and behaviour of the animals and how they prepare for winter. Participants learn how different animals behave in autumn and what changes take place in their daily lives. The tour starts at the ticket offices of the zoo’s west gate at Ehitajate tee 150 and lasts about two hours. It is a longer walk, and the recommended age for participants is ten years and above. The group has 10–25 people and the tour takes place in any weather. For the tour to go ahead, at least ten tickets must be sold by 22 October, otherwise the tour is cancelled and the ticket money refunded.
