Man with Hands and Legs

“Man with Hands and Legs” is a documentary production by VAT Teater, performed on 5 November in Tartu as a guest performance at the Vanemuine National Theatre. The production focuses on the experiences of people with mobility impairments and on the question of how society treats people whose bodies and ways of moving differ from the usual. Twelve people with mobility impairments were interviewed for the play, and representative organisations in the field helped bring the production about. The performance has two acts and lasts 2 hours 20 minutes. Flashing light is used in the production and smoking takes place on stage.
