Beavers and the Emajõgi – Nikolai Laanetu

On 14 October Tartu City Museum hosts the talk evening “Beavers and the Emajõgi”, where zoologist and beaver researcher Nikolai Laanetu speaks about river life and his research. The talk covers the return of beavers to Estonia after a long absence and how the Emajõgi has shaped Tartu's nature and people's lives. The guest will also recall his student years in the Kvissentali dormitory and the activities of the band Rajacas. The meeting is part of the autumn programme of the exhibition “Tartu: The Face of the River”, which presents the cultural and natural history of the Emajõgi. Participation is free.
