“Lumekuninganna ja kadunud jõulukingid” is a musical Christmas story for children that premieres on 2 December 2026 at 10.00 in the foyer of the Large House of Vanemuine in Tartu. At the centre of the story are the lonely Snow Queen and Father Christmas, whose Christmas presents have gone missing. Children can follow the characters’ search and take part in the action. The programme features songs from Olav Ehala’s musical “Snow Queen” to lyrics by Leelo Tungal. The performers include Merle Jalakas, Jaan Willem Sibul, Ele Sonn or Margus Riimaa, and Ilja Šarapov. The show is meant mainly for children aged three to ten and children’s groups. Father Christmas gives the children a small gift, and the show lasts 50 minutes.
