The President’s Jolly Reception for Naughty Children / Rakvere Theatre

The Rakvere Theatre children’s production “The President’s Jolly Reception for Naughty Children” is performed on 23 November at 13.00 at the Tartu Harbour Theatre (Sadamateater). Tarmo Tagamets’s production uses the idea of a formal presidential reception to create a playful theatre story that gives attention to children and their individual traits. With a text created as group work, the show offers young audiences both humour and food for thought about recognition and behaviour. It is a guest performance by Rakvere Theatre lasting one hour. Another performance takes place in Tartu the same day at 11.00, but that is a separate showing. The 13.00 session is a suitable daytime cultural event for theatregoers with children.
