Worldwide Ballet Theatre “Romeo and Juliet”

Worldwide Ballet Theatre’s classical ballet “Romeo and Juliet” comes to the Vanemuine Concert Hall in Tartu on 4 November. The two-act production by the Spanish ballet company tells William Shakespeare’s well-known love story to the music of Sergei Prokofiev. The fate of the young lovers of Verona is entwined with the clash between two feuding families. Choreography, costumes, stage design and lighting create a complete theatre experience in which dramatic events are conveyed through dance. The performance offers a chance to see one of the best-known stories of ballet literature performed by an international company. The start is at 19.00 and the approximate end at 21.00.
