The exhibition “Valguse teel. Hermann Talvik 120” takes place at the Adamson-Eric Museum in Tallinn from 3 December 2026 to 18 April 2027. The display marks the 120th anniversary of the artist Hermann Talvik and focuses above all on his monotypes. Born in Tallinn, Talvik studied art in Estonia, Finland and Paris and lived in Sweden after the Second World War. His work deals with faith, suffering, hope, life and death and other philosophical and religious themes. The exhibition includes works from the Art Museum of Estonia, the Tartu Art Museum and private collections in Estonia and Sweden. It was prepared in cooperation with the artist’s daughter Liina Talvik, and the curator is Kersti Koll.
