On 21 November 2026 the Tartu Art Museum opens a painting exhibition marking the 110th anniversary of Linda Kits-Mägi. The artist belonged to the Pallas school and completed her art studies in 1943. The exhibition focuses on her painting, including flower paintings, landscapes, interiors and portraits. A separate part of her work consists of pieces depicting family members, especially the artist’s children. Kits-Mägi’s first significant solo exhibition took place at the Tartu Art Museum in 1960, and her work is now presented in the museum again after a break of nearly forty years. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue on the artist’s work with reproductions from both museum and private collections. The curator is Saara Sion, and the exhibition remains open until 4 April 2027.
