Raivo Järvi

On 21 November 2026 the Tartu Art Museum opens an exhibition introducing the work of the artist and illustrator Raivo Järvi. The display brings together his drawings and graphic art, paying attention both to well-known book illustrations and posters and to works not previously shown to the public. Part of the artist’s work is in private collections, because during his lifetime he gave and sold his works to friends and acquaintances. The museum aims to gather and document these works and give a more complete picture of the artist’s legacy. Raivo Järvi also worked in comics, graphic design and applied art and was known to a wider audience as Uncle Raivo. The curator of the exhibition is Stella Mõttus. The exhibition remains open until 4 April 2027.
