“The Siuru Bird Flies to Raadi” is a special tour by the Tartu City Museum to the Raadi museum storage facilities at Narva maantee 177. Head of archaeology Arvi Haak presents finds uncovered during archaeological research at the Siuru Cultural Centre site. Visitors learn how objects are studied, documented and prepared for museum storage after excavation. Some earlier archaeological collections are also presented. The event offers a chance to see the part of museum work that usually remains hidden from visitors to the exhibition halls. The number of participants is limited to 20.
