IndoorsLive music
A jazz concert by the Latvian saxophonist Toms Rudzinskis takes place in Tartu at the club .Contriber & Philly Joe’s. The international ensemble presents the concept album “ABYSS”, whose music combines contemporary European jazz, jazz-rock influences and free improvisation. Musicians from Latvia, Ukraine, Sweden and Denmark take part in the project. At the heart of the album is a person’s inner journey, coping with hardships and the search for meaning. The concert offers a chance to hear a meeting of different musical traditions in live ensemble playing and to get to know Rudzinskis’ work in a direct club setting. It starts at 19.30.
