US Stock Market – Nelli Janson

On 21 October 2026 from 18.15 to 20.00 an investment seminar on the US stock market takes place in room 1021 of the University of Tartu Delta Centre. The seminar’s guest is Nelli Janson, author of the book “Minu Wall Street: USA börsist Eesti aktsendiga” and host of the investment podcast “Turutegijad”. Janson has previously worked as an analyst, a senior broker and a head of an investor community. The meeting covers the characteristics of the US stock market, investment opportunities, and the risks and dangers of trading on the exchange. It also discusses what opportunities the American stock market offers Estonian investors and what to keep in mind when making investment decisions. The seminar is open to everyone interested and to members of the University of Tartu investment club; the QR code of the electronically sent ticket must be presented for entry.
