Hush! Christmas!

“Vait! Jõulud!” is a Christmas concert by the ensemble V, held on 6 December 2026 at 15.00 in the foyer of the Large House of Vanemuine in Tartu. The concert belongs to the foyer concert series of Vanemuine’s 157th season. Ensemble V brings together wind players, a harpist and dancers and in its programme looks at Christmas traditions of different countries. Music by John Williams, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, André Jolivet, Antonio Pasculli and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is performed. The performers are Kristin Müürsepp, Leonardo Cubillo Carrillo, Cinmaya Ferrara, Stefan Kerstan, JaeWook Sung, Lisanne Rull, Gustavo Pedro and Elena Troisfontaines. The concert continues the ensemble’s earlier stage collaboration and links instrumental music with movement and theatrical elements. The performance takes place in the Vanemuine foyer in a smaller concert format.
