Gin Rummy — 30 October

“Gin Rummy” is a dialogue-driven production staged in the small hall of Ugala Theatre in Viljandi. At its centre is the meeting of two people and the development of a relationship between them. The card game creates room for conversations, sharp confrontations and getting to know each other. A seemingly simple pastime grows on stage into a chain of events that reveals people’s character and life experience. The immediate atmosphere of the small hall suits the central tension between the characters. Tickets for the 30 October performance are sold out. For other performance dates, theatregoers should follow Ugala’s official repertoire.
