The Potato Mashers – performance on 16 November

The Ugala Theatre family production “The Potato Mashers” is performed on 16 November in Viljandi, in the theatre’s small hall. The cheerful musical story written by Magnus Lindman takes the audience on a journey with the potato, following its path from South America to the European table. The show playfully tells the history of the potato, how it is grown and its interesting encounters with people and cultures. In Liis Aedmaa’s production, acting, music and humour combine to turn an ordinary vegetable into an unusual leading character. The performance lasts one hour and ten minutes with no interval. Tickets are sold out.
