Daytime concert meeting: Piret Aus

Folk musician Piret Aus performs on 19 November at the Viljandi Pärimusmuusika Ait (Traditional Music Barn) in a daytime concert meeting. Aus belongs to the first graduating class of the folk music specialty at the Viljandi Culture Academy and is one of the founders of the Viljandi Folk Music Festival. Her main instrument is the accordion, but she also plays the button accordion and is actively involved in teaching folk music and in cultural organising. In 2024 the Estonian Folk Dance and Folk Music Society honoured her as Folk Musician of the Year. The meeting weaves live music together with conversation about her creative journey. The event starts at 13.00.
