The Stance – performance on 16 January

The Ugala Theatre psychological thriller “The Stance” returns to the small hall stage in Viljandi on 16 January. The story by New Zealand playwright Emma Kinane deals with the tension of searching for a missing child and the question of how certain people can be of their decisions. The social worker who arrives at the family’s home tries to understand the situation, but her involvement creates ever new contradictions. Director Vallo Kirs explores through the actors the complicated limits of a sense of justice, parental responsibility and trust. The performance lasts two hours and twenty minutes with an interval and is not recommended for viewers under 12.
