Family History Research: What Is Family Heritage? Exploring Family Objects

Viljandi City Library hosts a meeting dedicated to family heritage and genealogy research. Tiina Tafenau, vice-chair of the Estonian Genealogical Society and chair of its Viljandi branch, leads a discussion centred on family objects and their stories. Participants are asked to bring an object or photo with a memory attached and prepare a presentation of about five minutes, preferably also in writing. The meeting is part of a monthly genealogy series whose next topics cover family photos and letters. Participation is free.
