Taavi Peterson’s concert “Vaiki kui võid” takes place on 12 December at St John’s Church in Viljandi. The programme, dedicated to Urmas Alender’s 73rd birth anniversary, includes songs from Alender’s solo work as well as from the repertoire of the band Ruja. Peterson performs well-known pieces with his voice and acoustic guitar, drawing on the mood of the original songs while giving them a personal interpretation. The pre-Christmas concert is part of a tour of Estonian churches. The acoustics of St John’s Church give the songs a more intimate sound. The concert begins at 19.00 and ends at 20.30.
