Children’s play “Vai-vai vaene Vargamäe” — Ugala Theatre

Ugala Theatre’s children’s play “Vai-vai vaene Vargamäe” is performed on 24 November in the theatre’s small hall in Viljandi. Urmas Lennuk’s dramatisation introduces the world of Anton Hansen Tammsaare’s “Truth and Justice” to a younger audience in a playful and humorous way. At its centre are the Vargamäe neighbours Andres and Pearu, whose disputes and complicated relationships drive the story. Music and lively characters help children grasp the themes of the classic. The play touches on work, justice, family and getting along with others. It starts at 11.00, lasts 1 hour 40 minutes and is recommended from age 7. Tickets are sold out.
