Heldur Karmo 100 – Tekstid, mis jäävad

“Heldur Karmo 100 – Tekstid, mis jäävad” (“Heldur Karmo 100 – Texts That Remain”) is a concert dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of the Estonian lyricist at Vanemuine Concert Hall in Tartu. The concert takes place on 10 February 2027 and focuses on Heldur Karmo’s Estonian-language song lyrics and the popular music associated with them. The performers are Ott Lepland, Mait Malmsten, Hanna-Liina Võsa, Mait Maltis and Heidy Tamme. The soloists are accompanied by the band Horoskoop, conducted by Martin Trudnikov. The programme includes the songs “Unustuse jõel”, “Suveöö”, “Vana jõgi”, “Mis värvi on armastus” and “Rohelised niidud”, among others. The concert series introduces Heldur Karmo’s work through performers of different generations, and the evening lasts about two hours including an interval.
