Annely Peebo’s Christmas concert “Christmas in Vienna” takes place on 23 December at the Vanemuine Concert Hall in Tartu. The Vienna-based Estonian mezzo-soprano brings listeners classical festive music and a concert programme inspired by Viennese Christmas traditions. Joining Annely Peebo on stage is the boys’ choir of the Estonian National Opera, conducted by Hirvo Surva. The musical evening combines solo performances with choral singing and creates a calm and festive mood before Christmas Eve. The concert is part of the December programme of Eesti Kontsert and of a Christmas tour through several Estonian concert halls. The performance starts at 19.00 and lasts about an hour and a half without an interval.
